“Garments are central to my choreographic process. They carry the weight of a concept, shape how a performer is perceived, and define the range of movement.”

-Claudia Hilda

Claudia Hilda moves fluidly between worlds of dance, choreography, and sculpture, creating performances and installations where the body becomes both archive and living sculpture. Born in Cuba and now working internationally, her practice blurs the lines between movement, visual art, and ritual, always returning to the body as her central compass.

In this conversation, Claudia reflects on her cross-disciplinary journey, the role of garments and fashion in performance, her evolving sense of style, and the collaborations that shape her life and work.
